About Savage Steel

Savage Steel is a one-person blacksmith shop. Every knife that leaves the forge is hand made from start to finish — no factories, no assembly lines, no shortcuts.

It started with a railroad spike, a forge, and a stubborn refusal to buy a knife instead of making one. Since then, every blade has been shaped by hand with fire and hammer, ground and finished one at a time, and fitted with a handle built to survive actual use — not just sit in a drawer.

These aren't collector pieces. They're tools, built the way tools used to be built: to last a lifetime and then some.
